About Us

Village Scholars Preschool is downtown Calgary’s premier child care facility for ages 1-6 years. Our program uses Play-Based Learning with a focus on real experiences, so that children can physically touch and explore what they are learning about. By providing time, space, and materials we enable students to lead the lessons, which help them to develop a love of learning in a supported and fun environment!

Together with families, the team at Village Scholars Preschool will help you to secure the best and brightest future for your child.

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:30am-6:00pm. As a full day program our Play-Based Learning curriculum runs throughout the day, and with our open door policy you can drop and pick your child at the times that work best for your family! Upon entering our secure facility you will drop your child off in one of our 6 classrooms, divided by age:

• Infant1: Ages 6 weeks – 12 months
• Infant2: Ages 12-19 months
• Toddler 1&2: Ages 19 months – 3 years
• Pre-School: Ages 3-6 years

Have time to stay a little longer, or want to pop by? Come relax in the Family Grove and take a look on the camera to see what your child is up to! Are they enjoying our indoor gym? Perhaps they are having an adventure in our fenced, outdoor, play space? Maybe they are enjoying 1 of the 3 meals a day made by our in-house cook!
